General Terms for all use & orders
1. Use of this Site
This website is intended for lawful use by our customers. You agree not to use this site for any unauthorized purposes, including attempting to compromise our security or using our intellectual property without permission.
2. Materials & Variations
We work with natural materials like wood, leather, and stone. Natural variations in grain, color, and texture are part of the beauty of handmade items and are not considered defects. Engraving depth, tone, and finish appearance may vary depending on material type, density, and natural characteristics. Minor variations and slight imperfections are part of the handcrafted process.
3. Payments & Pricing
Full payment is generally required at the time of order unless otherwise agreed upon. Prices are subject to change based on material costs, but once an order is confirmed and paid, your price is locked in. We accept major credit cards and secure third-party payment providers.
4. Turnaround Times
Quality takes time. Current turnaround times are estimated at the time of order and depend on project complexity and our current queue. While we strive to meet every deadline, these are estimates and not guarantees.
5. Shipping & Local Pickup
We only utilize trusted carriers for shipping. Anchored Craftworks & Engraving is not responsible for delays, damage, or loss once items have been transferred to the shipping carrier. Shipping timelines are estimates only. Alternatively, local pickup is available for customers near the Fargo/Moorhead area.
6. Safety & Proper Use
Our items are decorative crafts and gifts. Please use them only as intended. Anchored Craftworks & Engraving is not liable for injury resulting from misuse or improper display of our products.
7. Intellectual Property
All designs, photos, and content on this site are the property of Anchored Craftworks & Engraving. We retain the right to use images of completed work for portfolio and marketing purposes unless otherwise requested. Please do not use our work for your own commercial purposes without our written consent.
8. Limited Liability & Indemnity
Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the product. You agree to indemnify and hold Anchored Craftworks & Engraving harmless from any claims arising out of your use of our products or website.
Terms for Custom Orders
9. Custom Order Process
Our business specializes in custom, one-of-a-kind items. Orders are initiated through our contact form or shopping cart. You will receive a quote with digital proof(s) / mockup(s) for your approval (see more below). Once you have approved the quote, you will receive an invoice. Once payment has been received (see "Payments & Pricing" above), we will begin crafting each piece specifically for you based on the specifications provided during the ordering process.

10. Proofs & Approvals
For custom engravings and signs, we provide a digital proof / mockup for your approval before we start crafting. It is your responsibility to review all spelling, dates, and design elements carefully. Once you give us the "go-ahead," we are not responsible for errors that were present in the approved proof.

11. Return & Refund Policy
Because custom items are personalized to your specific vision, they cannot be returned or exchanged. If we made a mistake that deviates from your approved proof, or if the item arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours so we can make it right.

12. User-Submitted Content
If you provide images or text for engraving, you warrant that you have the legal right to use that content. We reserve the right to refuse orders containing content we deem offensive or that violates copyright laws.
